How is it that one rock can upset a person’s outlook? I will tell you how. When that one rock is stepped on, turns your foot onto its side and your balance is totally messed and you fall down on a freshly graveled country road. Rendering yourself, in the terms of my husband, road pizza.
That’s what happened Monday afternoon and it makes me mad!
What you don’t see is the swelling and the pain in the foot and the shoulder. U.G.H.
But I will live to hike, mow, and garden again. In the meantime, I am limping and gimping and looking down a lot, careful of my every step!
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair…2 Corinthians 4.8

Let’s just call you a bit clumsey and be done with it….hee hee. Glad you are okay though, could have been worse. Sorry you hurt though.
Hugs and happy Wednesday even though you are in discomfort.
I am off to the community pool in our development to do my exercises with my bad, chronic bursitus hip.
Mike got good results at the doc’s and they may get to have him stop all the chemo drugs in 6 months instead of 9 and he now has 3 under his belt…keep praying, prayer is the key to everything. Thanks…Merry:)
I’m so sorry this happened to you…..praying for that quick healing and cessation of pain, Susan. Love you!
Ouch… praying for quick healing!
I just got an email from my dear friend, Karen, and I quote: “I am so sorry you got hurt like that. What a great point that we should watch our every step in following God’s ways. The damage is far worse when we stumble that way. You are brilliant!”
I am so glad my friends and readers are more spiritual than I am because this blog post had no hidden spiritual meaning when I wrote it but YOU ALL gave it great spirituality!
Yes, and I will be on the next sunny day! In knee-high boots. LOL!
I can relate to your fall. My fall took place with twisting an ankle on a hike about 15 years ago. I believe this related to my torn meniscus which was repaired and now replaced with a total knee two years ago. I was thankful at the time of my fall that I did not break my ankle or foot. Also glad that your guardian angel was watching over you and threw the other stones out of the way or it could have been worse. In my prayers for a fast healing.
Oh honey, You Dorkable!
Please be carefull, do you want me to come and cook dinner for you all.
I’m so thankful that it wasn’t worst. But I am and have been Praying Honey.
Love ya sweetie!
PS. Tell Lowell to kiss your booboo
