Are You Familiar?
With Bible Scripture Mapping? I wasn’t until I received these three beauties from Bible Gateway to review. The correct term is “Verse Mapping,” and this practice promises to deepen your bible reading and unpack the meaning of scriptures.
What a great promise! So how exactly does it work?
The Definition
Verse mapping is a method of studying the historical context, transliteration, connotation, and theological framework of a verse, or section of verses, in the Bible.
If you want to get plain and simple…it is getting real about Bible study! The Journal has a guide in it and it is very helpful to understand the process of mapping.
- Pick a verse
- Design
- Develop
- Actions
- Outcome
The Adult Bible
The Adult Bible is New International Version translation and is a hefty, hardcover book. The print is smallish. There are journaling lined areas on each page PLUS the 5 step process (listed above) with selected scripture.
The Girls Bible
The Girls Bible is also New International Version translation, and is a hefty, hardcover book with a pretty purple and turquoise graphically designed cover. Again, the print is smallish with lined areas on each page PLUS the 5-step process (listed above) with selected scripture.
The Journal
The Journal is a spiral bound book with a guide, quotes, study plans, and blank pages with the 5-step process to study your own selected scripture.

My Honest Review
I received these for free as a member of the Bible Gateway Blogger Grid, in exchange for an honest review.
The books are beautiful and the mapping process is interesting. I would recommend these resources for those that love to study and have a real passion to deeply understand scripture.
I love The Word of God and it is an integral part of my daily life. As a writer and blogger, the process is a bit tedious for me. I don’t have hours to spend studying and when I do get the chance I am usually reading scripture and then writing a post about it.
Again, if you love to study and dig deep – these resources are for YOU!
