Introduction
This is by far one of the most beautiful Bible’s I’ve ever held in my hands! I received this Bible for free as a member of the BG2 partnership with Bible Gateway, for an honest review.
I cannot think of anything negative to say about this lovely edition.
Henry H. Halley
Was a well-respected author, minister; and Bible lecturer, dedicating his life to sharing passion for both Bible study and memorization. I am familiar with the Halley’s Bible Handbook, a resource that has been around a very long time – and now, I love that Zondervan has published this treasury of information and scripture.
The Interior
The pages are smooth, the print is reader-friendly, and the illustrations are gorgeous. Being a map lover, that section is especially important to me. The colors are vivid and the texture of the page is like satin.
This is just one example of the exemplary illustrations found in the pages of Halley’s Study Bible. Between the front and back cover are hundreds like it.
Each Bible book is introduced with a full-color image, the author, the theme, and the key verse. Each chapter has notes and callouts.
To Sum It Up!
If you are looking for a new Study Bible for yourself or a gift for another, please consider this Halley’s Study Bible – both in hard cover and leather. The link to purchase is here.
I usually gift books and Bibles that I review, but I am quite tempted to keep this one!
Thank you Bible Gateway for the opportunity!
