And, so it begins – Write 31 Days 2016!
This past July I had it all planned and then God got bossy, as my friend Ms. K says, and changed it all up!
Welcome to 31 Days in the Gospel of John. I believe we are going to fall in love with John because of the way he loved his and our Best Friend, Jesus.
The Gospel is a memoir looking back on the life of Christ, The Son of God. This series, like the New Testament book of John, is all about Jesus, not the writer, but our Savior and Lord and all His many profiles: from The Living Word to A Master Chef! All tucked in to twenty-one story-rich chapters.
All scripture in this series will be taken from the New King James Version, unless noted.
The beautiful black and white pencil sketch of “JESUS, I AM” is by Alice P. Roberts and will be available for purchase at the end of the series.
Now, let’s get started…
This series looks amazing! Thanks, Susan, for following God’s call to write it. I know I will learn much from reading here.
So looking forward to reading!
That sketch is just so incredible. Love it!
I am so excited about this, my friend! (And I am glad He gets bossy with more than just me!)
Susan so looking forward to the, series. Blessings Diana
I’m so excited, to start, thank you! It’s like we are at your house with our cuppa tea and drinking in his word.
John is one of my favorites. It’s the topic of Bible Study Fellowship this year and I’m seeing new things every day. Glad to be your neighbor at Sitting Among Friends
All I can say is, “Wow.”
A few years ago Ann Voskamp promoted a Scripture memory series around the Gospel of John, and I still remember how rich that experience was. I’m going to try to hit your place lots in the next 31 days.
The gospel of John is one of my favorite books of the Bible, Susan. And it sounds like you are tasting every delicious morsel that God’s word reveals about our beautiful Savior. Praying this series blesses all who pass by your space, my friend!
I love the Gospel of John. I am going to need to catch up as I have been away the last week. This looks like it is going to be wonderful. I look forward to reading your thoughts! Blessings!
Wow! This sounds great!
I pray your 31 days is going well. I know how faithfully you are writing. I am watching from the sidelines but have not had the time to dig into all the beautiful words out there. I am praying for you as you reach the halfway point.
I’m glad you left your landing page today, Susan, so that I can easily find the posts :).
What a wonderful undertaking to journey through this book by the beloved disciple. If there’s any book to help us explore the depths of Jesus’s love it’s this one!
Great idea to dig into a specific gospel. I have learned so much from spending time with each particular disciple. Looking forward to reading through them.
What an awesome idea and I love your organization. All of it is so easy to follow! A wonderful study.
WOW, Susan! What an enormous and beautiful undertaking! May God bless your desire to share who His Son is with others.
One of my favorite books/authors in the Bible. Although some of Paul’s messages of love get me pretty good to! 🙂
Great series!
I was so excited when I read your title! I’m currently journeying through John’s gospel for the second time this year. I can’t wait to read how it’s touched your heart! Blessings for your day!
Amazing series Susan.
Wow this is great, Susan. I have been meaning to visit and I am leaving your blog up so I can visit awhile. Blessings to you!
Aw…Meg…I sure hope you stayed a while and at least had a cuppa with me?
Best friend, Jesus. Love that!
He’s mine!!!
I’ve been quite encouraged by your faithfulness to this series. Such good stuff you’ve shared. I’m always glad when you link up at #ThreeWordWednesday. xoxo
I am behind in reading, but I know I will catch up, and I know someday I will be able to purchase the book and really soak up the words. Thank you for your diligence and how you encourage us all in our writing endeavors.
Barbie, thank you for those kind and generous words!
